Alicia ♥ Her lips glossy and pink, she flashed a smile at the Starbucks counter boy. "Thanks." She said, grabbing the coffee from him. He mumbled something, and Alicia gave him one last smile, and walked to her seat, her Manolo Blahniks clicking against the floor. For once, she wasn't wearing anything Ralph Lauren. She was clad in a pair of dark True Religions and cute pink long sleeve tee shirt that hugged her body. The t-shirt was extreamly soft, and one of Alicia's favorite t-shirts. From her neck dangled a long necklace, a heart pendant dangling from the delicate gold chain. Wincing as she took a sip of the steaming coffee, she waited for her friends. She wanted to throw a holiday party, and not much time was left to plan it. Taking another sip, she spotted a boy that looked alot like Josh. It wasn't, but it made Alicia smile all the same. Whenever she thought of her boyfriend, she smiled. She couldn't help it. They were in love.

m a s s i e . Massie walked into starbuck's. Her and Alicia's usual hangout, other than Massie's or Alicia's house. She pulled her phone out and read the three text messages she had just now recived. They were from Dylan, Claire, and Kristen. Dylan was with her mom and couldn't leave. Claire was sick. (Massie made a mental note not to drink after Cliare or breath the air Claire was breathing.) Kristen just couldn't leave. She wouldn't say why. She sighed. It would just be Alicia and her now. That didn't bother her, but when they called TPC meetings they expected at least most of the girls to show. She got herself a strawberries and creme frapichino, seeing as though she wasn't in a coffee kind of mood. "Thank you." she said taking her cold drink. Maybe she should have gotten something warmer, it was cold enough outside already. She looked around for her friends. As her eyes wondered over all the faces, she noticed a few guys checking her out. She just rolled her eyes and flipped her light brown hair. She scanned the faces agian, finally spotting Alicia. She smiled and made her way to her best friend. "Hey, Leesh. None of the others could make it." she said showing her the texts she got. She looked at Alicia and smiled. "So what did you-" she stopped. She could have sworn she had just seen Josh Hotz, Alicia's boyfriend, then her own boyfriend, Derek Harrington. Then she realized that is wasn't them. She looked back at Alicia like nothing happened. "want to talk about?" she finished her question.

Alicia ♥ A dreamy look still on her face, she look up. Seeing Massie, she grinned. "Can I just tell you that I am so in love. I thought I just saw Josh a second ago, and that made me think of him. " She giggled, tossing her shiny hair. He was just so adorable. Alicia usually got like this when thinking of Josh, even though they had been going out since 7th grade. She never got tired of him. Listening to Massie, her mood suddenly dropped a bit when she heard that the rest of her friends couldn't come. She loved when TPC was all together. "Oh." She said, frowning. "We have to call them with the details." she continued. "Well, talking about Josh is not why I wanted you to meet me here. We need to throw a holiday party Mass! I heard Alexandra Regan was throwing one, and do you really want people to be talking about her party instead of ours?" She questioned, her chocolate brown eyes on Massie. After she took a long sip of her coffee, she gave Massie a hopeful look. "What do you think?" It was necessary to get Massie's approval for the party, and Alicia was fine with that. She had gone through her wanting to be alpha stage, but now she realized how hard it must be to be an alpha. You had to worry about everything. Alicia hated worrying, it made her head hurt. She grabbed her sunglasses out of her bag, she placed them on top of her head.

m a s s i e . Massie smiled at her best friend. They both were crazy about their boyfriends. She nodded. "Yeah. I could have sworn I just saw Derek." she said. Their boyfriends were even best friends. It was perfect. She smiled to herself as she flipped her sidekick around in her hand. She heard Alicia let out an 'Oh.' about their friends being no shows. "Yeah. At least they texted instead of saying nothing and not showing." she said. She stared off into space thinking of wether she should call up Derek and meet him somewhere later or not. Alicia ended up breaking the silence. "Well, I certainly hope not. We could have done that via text or phone." she said. She didn't mind when Alicia talked about Josh, because Massie rarely shut up about Derek. Massie nodded. "Yes to the party. Alaxandra Reagan will not have a party and us not. What night is hers on? We can do ours the same night at my place." she said with a sly smile. She love ruining other people's fun. She took a sip of her drink and watched Alicia put her sunglasses on her head. Massie's never had left her head upon entering. "I can't wait." she said.

Alicia ♥ Alicia's mouth formed a suprised "O". "Weird." She said, laughing. Alicia and Josh, Massie and Derrick were the two super couples of the school. It was so perfect Alicia could hardly stand it! She was kind of bummed about the rest of the Pretty Committee not being there, but she would rather have Massie with her than not with her. Massie was her best friend, and no matter how much she loved the other girls, Massie would always be the one she went to with her problems, thoughts, or random, long conversations about their boyfriends. When Massie said yes to the party, Alicia smiled. When Alicia smiled, her whole face light up, and her eyes grew wide and twinkled. "Oh good! I'm so excited." She said, pulling out her Palm Pilot, which she used for dates and such. "Its on the 24th." She said. "The only reason she threw it on such a popular night was because no one in the whole junior or senior class was throwing a party that night. Well, no one cooler than her." Alicia said. "This is going to be so fun. I can probably get Ginger, the party planner, to plan it. She planned my sweet sixteen." Alicia offered. [/center]
