Secrets don’t stay secrets for long in a place like Briargrove. But how can you expect them to? In a small town with a lack of good company, privacy really isn’t something that exists anymore. All the sweet little girls and adorable little boys from elementary school have grown up, and know the dramas of high school have begun to take the toll of the friendships many worked for years to cultivate… The worst thing about it all – these kids pretty much know everything about you. And that means there is no doubt that the bad memories of the past will come back to haunt you.
For many, junior year has just begun, and for Benji and Jennifer, it means another shot at their relationship… But can it work? Calvin in on the edge of being sent away to live with dear old grandma if his “destructive behavior” doesn’t change, according to his mother. Natasha has just arrived home from a long winter term at a prep school in New York; will she be able to adjust to the small town life again?
Jonathan might be an expecting father soon, and has anyone noticed how much weight Kristen has gained? A connection perhaps? Nathaniel’s home life is on the rocks, and the boy had turned to drugs to help him cope. And poor little Emmie is still trying fighting to keep her grades up, all she wants to a ticket out of this town – but no one seems to really care…
And what about the rest of them? The hundreds of other teens that make up Briargrove’s younger generation? You see them every day at school, in the halls and in the classroom. Have to talked to any of them, do you know their secrets? Maybe you should, since everyone else seems to know yours.
Dreaming of the Big Time is a new town and highschool based roleplay, taking place in the small town of Briargrove, Idaho… But things are as peaceful in the quiet haven as they’ve always been. Rumors, drama, betrayal, secret romances, new friends… There is no end to the trouble you could get yourself into. And of course, there is always the local myspace gossiper there to record every single mistake you make… Your past makes who you are, and the people you once knew now have the power to decide where you’re going to do.
Watch yourself… Old friends don’t always play nice…
